1. Open %WINDIR%\System32\GroupPolicy folder (just copy & paste into the address bar of Windows Explorer) and delete the contents of that folder.
2. Next, open %WINDIR%\System32\GroupPolicyUsers and also delete the contents.
3. Restart the computer.

Alternatively, you can open Command Prompt (right-click and select “Run as Administrator”) and enter following commands one by one:
1). rd /S /Q “%WinDir%\System32\GroupPolicyUsers”
2). rd /S /Q “%WinDir%\System32\GroupPolicy”
3). gpupdate /force
